Joey, Jimmy and Madeline each will have a cup of hot cocoa and mini marshmallows after playing in the cold. They have 9 mini marshmallows to share. If they each get the same number of marshmallows, how many do they each get?
Mrs. Looney wants to make hot cocoa for her class of 24 students. She has the following recipe that makes 4 cups. How much does she need of each ingredient so that she can make enough for her whole class to have one cup?
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons unsweetened baking cocoa
2 1/2 cups milk
1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips (1 1/2 oz)
