The Freedom Trail is a red (mostly brick) path through downtown Boston, Massachusetts, that leads to 16 significant historic sites. It is a 2.5-mile walk from Boston Common to USS Constitution in Charlestown. Simple ground markers explaining events, graveyards, notable churches and other buildings, and a historic naval frigate are stops along the way.

Sherry is planning to walk the freedom trail, making stops along the way. If she allows 5 hours for the walk, and begins at 10:00, at what time will she finish? Explain how you solve the problem.

In 1953, 40,000 people walked the freedom trail. If this continued through today, how many people would have walked the freedom trail altogether?
