Early Childhood

Draw a pattern alternating between red, blue and yellow flowers.  Describe your pattern. 

Upper Elementary

In a bed of flowers, five flowers grew in a row.  The first flower had 3 petals.  The second flower had six petals.  The third flower had twelve petals.  Complete the pattern: How many petals did the fourth flower have?  How many did the fifth flower have? 

Middle School

In a bed of flowers, the ratio of petals to flowers was six to one.  The ratio of flowers to garden beds was fifteen flowers to one bed.  What was the ratio of petals to garden beds?  If a garden bed contained 360 petals, how many flowers were in the bed?----
