McKenzie's girls scout troop decided to climb Mount Monadnok.
If it will take them 6 hours to climb up and then down the mountain, and they want to be back home by 3:00 at what time do they need to begin their hike?

Those who choose to hike Mt. Everest are experienced climbers, and the trek takes many weeks to complete. The first part of the climb ends at a base camp that is about 5,180 feet high. Hikers camp here to acclimate to the change in altitude for a couple of weeks. How much further is it to the summit from base camp?
