Construct Viable Arguments and Critique the Reasoning of Others

When asked about his heritage, Timmy said he is 1/2 Irish, 1/2 Italian and 1/2 Spanish. Explain what is wrong with this statement.

You are on an imaginary island where there are two types of families - one who always tells the truth and one who always lies. You meet Sue and Dave. Sue says we are both from the family of liars. Which family is Sue from? What about Dave? Explain.

When does 1/2 NOT = 1/2? Write a situation when this is true.
