Upper Elementary

In the Aztec calendar, a tonalpohualli is a day count made up of 13 cycles of 20 days.  How many total days are in a tonalpohualli?  Write a matching equation with a variable to explain your thinking.

Middle School

The Aztecs marked 52 year cycles in their calendar, signifying times of change or celestial events.  If the Earth is currently estimated to be 4.54 billion years old, how many Aztec cycles of change have occurred?  Show how you know.
