Do you want to build a snowman?
Early Childhood
Write a step-by-step plan for building a snowman. In your plan, use words like “first, second, third, next, last…” Make sure to describe the shape of each part needed to build the snowman.
Upper Elementary
Design and draw two snowmen: one that is symmetrical and one that is not. Provide evidence to show how you know your snowman is symmetrical.
Middle School
The largest snowman ever built was constructed in Bethel, Maine. The snowman was 122 feet tall with 27-foot evergreen trees for arms. Create a scale drawing of the snowman, indicating the scale you used, and the diameter of each of the three snowballs used in your snowman drawing. Show how you know your drawing is to scale.
