Get moving in May during Physical Fitness Month!  Trying acting out these problems as you solve!

Early Childhood

Each time you take a step, you move one foot.  See how many steps it takes to walk across your classroom. Each time you jump you move both of your two feet!  Counting by twos, see how many times it takes you to jump (or move both feet) across your classroom.

Upper Elementary

Ava is able to complete 135 jumping jacks in five minutes.  How many jumping jacks can Ava complete in seven minutes?

Middle School

Dylan rides for 30 minutes and wants to determine how far he traveled in that time.  Dylan knows his bike tire has a diameter of 0.73 m (or 73 cm).  He calculated his wheel speed during the trip to determine it was 180 rpm.  How far did Dylan travel?
